The National Lottery Lotto draw on Saturday, October 17, offers a £3.4m jackpot, with the Thunderball draw following shortly afterwards. The draws take place between 8pm and 8.30pm.
How the Lotto works
Players take part in the October 17 game by using two sets of six main numbers and a bonus ball drawn from two separate machines. Players are automatically placed into two separate rounds in every draw, meaning two chances of winning a prize.
Since the introduction of the new Lotto, the National Lottery has made 76 millionaires, with 39 made from round 2.
Recent winners
Earlier this month, one lucky player scooped the £5.8 million jackpot in Saturday's National Lottery Lotto draw, with three other ticket-holders each winning £1 million after matching five main numbers and the Bonus Ball.
Meanwhile, a married couple from the Vale of Glamorgan won £1m on the Lotto back in August. The couple in their 60s said they played the same numbers for decades.
