New Format
Since a major change in June, each Lotto draw now has two separate rounds. All players are automatically entered into both draws with one ticket.
Players buy their £2 ticket in the same way. In the first round, 59 balls are entered into the draw machine. Six balls are drawn plus the Bonus Ball. If you match two or more numbers from your Lotto line, you win cash.
Then, a second set of 59 balls is entered into the second draw machine. Six balls are drawn plus the Bonus Ball, and the same rule applies: match two or more numbers from your same Lotto line to win cash.
Thunderball and Draw Times
Additionally, one person could win up to £500,000 in the Thunderball game at 8.15pm, shortly after the Lotto draw at 8pm. To be in with a chance, you must have bought a ticket by 7.30pm. Tickets cost £2.
Lotto draws take place every Wednesday and Saturday, EuroMillions on Tuesday and Friday, and Set For Life every Monday and Thursday.
