Oscar winner Hilary Swank has announced that she is pregnant at the age of 52. The actress, married to Philip Schneider, is already a mother to three-year-old twins Aya and Ohm.

On Wednesday evening, Swank took to social media to reveal the news. In a video posted to Instagram, she said: "A lot of people have been asking what project I’m doing next, this one releases in December."
The video featured an abstract cartoon depicting pregnancy, and Swank added a wink emoji to her comment.

Fellow Hollywood stars quickly congratulated her. Sharon Stone wrote: "God bless honey This is the most extraordinary journey ever, so happy for you all."
Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson said: "Congrats!!!!" and One Tree Hill actress Sophia Bush commented: "They’re HERE," alongside heart emojis.
