Liam and Noel Gallagher have arrived in Venice together for the world premiere of a new Oasis film. Titled Don’t Look Back In Anger, the documentary will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the most eagerly-anticipated set of gigs in music history, which saw the brothers reunite on stage together for the first time in 16 years.
Kicking off in Cardiff in July 2025, the Oasis Live ‘25 tour spanned five continents with 41 shows in front of more than two million fans. It also included five big homecoming nights at Manchester’s Heaton Park.
Arrival in Venice
With rumours of a new tour increasing by the day, Noel and Liam were pictured together in Italy for the 83rd Venice International Film Festival on Saturday (September 5). Their film is receiving its first screening this evening at one of the most prestigious film festivals in the world.
Photographers snapped the Gallaghers together on a luxurious boat as they made their way across one of the city’s many canals. Both of the pair embraced the sun with slick pairs of shades. Noel sported a plum long sleeve shirt and blue jeans for the occasion. Sticking with his normal style, Liam wore a long sleeve dark green shirt, similar to the ones he normally wears on stage.
Film details and release
Fans are very excited to see the film, directed by Will Lovelace and Dylan Southern, as it will feature the first joint interviews with the Gallagher brothers since the reunion tour began. It’s said to follow the band’s humble beginnings to their global phenomenon status today.
Set to be released in cinemas on Wednesday (September 9) for a limited run of screenings before it is made available to stream on Disney+ in the UK later this year. It will also air on Hulu internationally. At least 20 independent and chain cinemas across Greater Manchester will be showing the film, with both ODEON and VUE confirming that the documentary will be shown at all of their combined 185 cinemas across the country.
