Essex Police have seized a Lamborghini Huracan, which could be worth more than £200,000, following reports of dangerous driving in Southend.
Officers received multiple calls on Saturday afternoon reporting that the supercar was being driven dangerously, including at speeds suspected to be more than twice the legal limit.
Vehicle seized under Section 59
The vehicle was seized under Section 59 of the Police Reform Act 2002, which allows officers to take action when they reasonably believe a car is causing or likely to cause alarm, distress or annoyance to the public.
According to Autotrader, the Lamborghini Huracan has an on-the-road recommended retail price of £238,195, depending on the version.
