Everton first-team stars will feature in Men in Blazers' first European live show, set for Hill Dickinson Stadium on Monday, August 17. The event marks another milestone for the venue, which last month hosted Upper Deck Golf's debut outside North America.
European firsts at the stadium
Upper Deck Golf brought its unique format to Europe for the first time at the 52,769-capacity stadium on the Mersey waterfront. Tee boxes were placed high in the stands with custom greens on the pitch, a format previously staged at iconic NFL and MLB venues like Wrigley Field, Yankee Stadium, and Dodger Stadium.
Now, the stadium welcomes the hit US football media network Men in Blazers for a ticketed 'evening with' event. Host Roger Bennett, a lifelong Evertonian, will raise the curtain on the season, joined live by first-team squad members including 2025/26 Player of the Season James Garner, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, and summer signing Hayden Hackney, with more names to be announced.
Partnership continues
Everton and Men in Blazers have previously presented sold-out live shows in Washington DC and New York. UK-based Blues fans will now enjoy Bennett's blend of comedy and candid football chat, hearing about players' careers, personalities, and experiences at Everton, plus their ambitions for the season ahead.
With the opening Premier League fixture against Crystal Palace at the stadium the following Saturday, the event offers a unique chance to hear from the dressing room as anticipation builds.
Tickets and packages
Born in Liverpool, Bennett moved to the USA and founded Men in Blazers to share his love of football with a North American audience. The network became an NBC television show and cultivated a cult following. Tickets for the event at The Yard are on sale now, with three packages available (doors 7pm):
- General admission (£20): Ticket-only entry with access to The Yard's cash bar.
- Gold ticket (£40): Prime seating at the front section and one drink token for a pint or soft drink.
- Platinum ticket (£99): Two-course pre-show meal with wine, meet and greet with players in the home dressing room, and seating in the first two rows.
