Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) makes a huge gesture to win back Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan-Levy) in EastEnders this week, unaware she has been secretly seeing Max Branning (Jake Wood). Since learning Priya had moved on, Ravi has been determined to win her back, even vowing to kill her new man once he discovered his identity.
Priya Thaws Towards Ravi
Priya begins to warm to Ravi after their daughter Avani (Aaliyah James) plays matchmaker. Ravi then seeks advice from his best mate Zack Hudson (James Farrar), who encourages him to show Priya how much he loves her. Interpreting this grandly, Ravi decides to propose.
Meanwhile, Priya hooks up with Max again, and after they oversleep on the day of his bride Cindy Beale’s (Michelle Collins) hen do, they end up sorting last-minute hen party arrangements. Priya feels guilty about the affair, but just as her conscience stirs, Ravi gets down on one knee and pops the question.
Wedding on the Horizon?
Viewers will see how Priya responds, but she later heads to Max’s flat to end their affair, suggesting a wedding may be near. However, a happy ending seems unlikely, as fans speculate Ravi could be the gunman from the New Year’s Day flashforward, seeking revenge against Max.
