Dani Dyer Faces Strictly Final Heartbreak as Odds Lengthen

Dani Dyer, who was the favourite to win the 2026 series of Strictly Come Dancing, could miss out on making the final, according to the latest bookmaker odds.

Current predictions suggest Shaun Wright-Phillips and Alexis Warr will exit the competition this weekend, with Shaun given odds of 5/6 for departure.

Lacey Turner Leads the Market

At the opposite extreme, Lacey Turner remains the clear favourite to lift the trophy with odds of 100/1, reports the Daily Star. Tabby Stoecker follows closely at 66/1, with John Nellis in third position at 50/1. Dani Dyer is currently fourth with odds of 25/1.

During last week's programme, Melanie Walters departed after finding herself in the bottom two alongside Shaun and his dance partner, Alexis Warr. The judging panel opted to keep him in the competition, resulting in the Gavin and Stacey actress and her professional partner, Aljaz, being eliminated.

Betting Expert's View

Commenting on the current market, Betway's Lewis Knowles said: "Shaun Wright-Phillips is the favourite to be eliminated once again at 5/6, but he continues to defy his odds and dodge the exit."

"Sarah Storey is currently second favourite to leave at 15/8, so if Shaun manages to survive yet again, she could find herself in trouble. Jaime Winstone is next in the betting at 15/2, but there's still a sizeable gap between her and the top two so it would be a shock to see her go, but it's not impossible."

"Shaun has become one to watch, with his repeated escapes keeping everyone guessing. If he manages to pull it off again, Sarah could be the one who finds herself in the firing line next."

Delta Goodrem Withdraws

Meanwhile, Delta Goodrem will be absent from this weekend's show after sustaining a rib injury, meaning her professional partner, Kai Widdrington, must also withdraw.

Earlier in the week, a Strictly spokesperson announced Delta's withdrawal from Icons Week. They stated: "Due to injury, Delta Goodrem has been advised by doctors to rest and, as a result, will not dance on this weekend's Strictly Come Dancing."

"In line with the rules of the show, Delta and Kai will receive a bye through to next week, when it is hoped they will be able to dance again. We wish Delta the very best as she continues her recovery."

"I'm absolutely gutted that a rib injury means I won't be able to dance on Strictly this week. I've been loving every second of this experience, so having to sit this one out is heartbreaking - especially after the high of Saturday night," Delta added. "I cannot tell you how much I love being a part of this magical show."

"I'm going to focus on resting and recovering, and hopefully I'll be back on that dancefloor very soon. Thank you so much to everyone for all the love and support. It's so appreciated. I'll be cheering everyone on from the sidelines this week! Sending all my love, Delta xx."

Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturday at 6.15pm on BBC One.
