Coronation Street fans have reason to celebrate as Ryan Thomas reunites with Sue Cleaver, who played his on-screen mum for 16 years in the ITV soap. The duo will appear together in a celebrity edition of Deal or No Deal, airing Saturday night (August 8) on ITV.
Ryan, alongside his brother Adam, will take on the infamous banker in the special episode. They'll have support from family and friends in the wings, along with several famous faces.
Behind-the-Scenes Snaps
Sharing a string of images online, one photo shows Ryan standing next to Sue, with actress Sheree Murphy on the other side. Murphy is known for playing Tricia Dingle in ITV soap Emmerdale.
Next to Ryan is his brother Adam, a former Emmerdale star, who has his arm around the shoulder of Kelvin Fletcher. Fletcher is best known for playing Andy Sugden in Emmerdale until his exit in 2019.
The ITV competition isn't limited to soap stars. Their other brother Scott is joining them, along with their mum and partners Caroline Daly and Lucy Mecklenburgh. Other celebrities include Lisa Snowdon and Strictly Come Dancing star Luba Mushtuk, who shared behind-the-scenes snaps of her time on the show.

Mushtuk captioned her images: “Don’t miss the Deal or No Deal Celebrity Special tomorrow at 7pm on @itv @adamthomas21 and @ryanthomas84 had the best time. It’s definitely worth tuning in.”
Fans quickly commented on the post, sharing excitement at seeing the brothers back with former colleagues. One person commented: “My fav game show! With my fave TV family. Can’t wait for this.” Another wrote: “Excited to watch x.” A third shared: “Eeeek. So excited for this! So sooooo glad you and Adam are still close.”

Will They Beat the Banker?
