The Guardian's corrections column addresses several errors from recent articles.
Puzzle answers transposed
Questions 1 and 6 in Alex Bellos's puzzles (25 July, Puzzles summer special, p2) had their answers accidentally transposed (1 August, p52). The order of answers to first lines from books was also jumbled.
Date error for Puy du Fou
It was in 2014, not 2022, that the theme park company Puy du Fou expressed concerns about a company reorganisation (French bidder's links to Putin-backing oligarch revealed, 1 August, p44).
Zac Cockrell's absence explained
Alabama Shakes bassist Zac Cockrell was absent from the band's interview in Leeds as he was in Nashville, not asleep as the article speculated (Blue sky thinking, 18 July, Saturday magazine, p33).
