Jeremy Clarkson has unveiled the complete lineup for his highly anticipated inaugural Great British Farm-Fest, a three-day celebration set to take place at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire this May. The event promises to blend Britain's beloved agricultural community with a stellar roster of musical talent, creating a unique festival experience in the heart of the countryside.
A Festival Born from the Farm
Launching its debut year from May 22nd to May 24th, the festival will be hosted at the newly christened Hawkstone Music Arena, named after Clarkson's renowned brewery. Clarkson, who has owned Diddly Squat Farm in the Cotswolds since 2008, will be joined by familiar faces from his hit television series Clarkson's Farm, including Kaleb Cooper, Lisa Hogan, and Charlie Ireland. These agricultural personalities will trade their usual rural backdrop for the centre stage, adding a distinctive farming flavour to the festivities.
Friday: The Launch Night Extravaganza
The opening night on Friday, May 22nd, kicks off with the Young Farmer DJ Battle, presented by Capital Radio's Chris Stark. This competition will see Britain's finest farming turntable talents battling for supremacy. The musical journey continues with performances by The Hot House Flowers and the rock-and-roll energy of Rick Parfitt Jnr. The evening will reach its climax with an iconic DJ set from Groove Armada, followed by a dazzling performance from the Queen of the Kitchen Disco herself, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, who will deliver her pop classics to a rural audience.
Saturday: The All Star Farm Party
Saturday transforms into a feel-good tribute to British musical talent, beginning with chart-topping country duo The Shires. The day will feature two energetic DJ performances, with Sara Cox showcasing her Power Wower collection of festival anthems and Chris Moyles unleashing his trademark high-octane 90s DJ experience. The nostalgic mood will carry on with definitive cover band Noasis, before Massaoke takes control with a playlist of crowd-pleasing favourites, ensuring a communal sing-along atmosphere.
Sunday: A Homage to British Classics
The festival draws to a close on Sunday with a homage to Britain's rich musical heritage. Festival-goers can anticipate a journey through the decades, featuring 10cc's enduring classics and heartfelt country melodies from One Night in Nashville. The weekend will build to a spectacular conclusion with two enormous shows: the debut public appearance of Ricky Wilson Presents the Fabulous Adjustable Band, fronted by the Kaiser Chiefs vocalist with a rotating cast of renowned musicians, and Blur's Alex James' Britpop Classical, offering a fresh interpretation of the 90s' most celebrated tracks.
Showcasing Farming Talent
Festival Director Chris Hughes emphasised the event's unique mission, stating: "We want to showcase the incredible talent of the British farming industry in a way that's never been done before. By pairing legendary farmers and TV favourites with world-class DJs and rock stars, we are delivering three days of unforgettable parties that put the heart of the countryside centre stage." This innovative approach aims to highlight agricultural prowess alongside musical excellence, creating an unforgettable experience for attendees.
Great British Farm-Fest tickets are now on sale, offering the public a chance to witness this groundbreaking fusion of farming and festival culture. Located just beyond Coventry at Stoneleigh Park, the event is poised to become a highlight of the British summer calendar, celebrating both rural life and iconic music in a vibrant, three-day spectacle.
