Celebrity Traitors star dealt crushing odds blow after exits

Jerry Hall has been dealt a crushing blow in the betting odds for The Celebrity Traitors, emerging as the least likely celebrity to win the series.

Bookmaker Betway has placed the actress and model at 33/1 to win, alongside content creator King Kenny. This comes after Richard E. Grant became the first celebrity banished around the roundtable during Thursday's episode, with Myha’la following after a dramatic roundtable. Amol Rajan was the first celebrity to be murdered days earlier.

Murder missions and betrayals

Jerry Hall and Professor Hannah Fry were expected to be murdered after a mission left them vulnerable, but Hannah was recruited by Traitors James Acaster and Maya Jama to join them on the dark side.

Despite Hannah raising the suspicions of sleuth Miranda Hart, Jerry now stands as the least likely winner in odds shared before Richard and Myha’la’s exits.

Current odds and fan predictions

Maya and James lead the odds at 5/1 to win, closely followed by Michael Sheen at 7/1, Rob Beckett at 8/1 and Romesh Ranganathan at 9/1. Fellow Faithfuls Joe Lycett and Joanne McNally also have a strong chance, while Bella Ramsey, Sebastian Croft and Sharon Rooney all stand at 25/1.

Some fans have predicted Sharon will go far in the competition. One wrote on Reddit: "She's had hardly any screen time, which tends to be a sign she's not going anywhere too soon tbh." Another said: "I agree, as long as she plays it smart. She's exactly the kind of person who often makes it far: unassuming, likable, funny but not overbearing. People will probably underestimate her. I can totally see her winning the whole thing."

Someone else wrote: "I assume she gets very far or wins as she has little to no air time yet," as another added: "Watch out for those players that never get shown - they make it to the end because they need to showcase those about to get murdered or banished first."

Jerry's excitement ahead of the series

Ahead of the series airing, Jerry had shared her love for the show, saying: "I have been completely obsessed. I just thought it was the best show when I first saw it, and I love playing games."

She added: "I felt thrilled to be asked to be involved as I just think it's wonderful. Saying yes in life has sometimes got me in trouble, but a lot of times it's led to wonderful adventures, and I am excited to embark on this adventure."

She also said: "I think I'm quite excited about the Missions. I am the oldest person doing it, but I am quite an active person. I don't sit down much. I have a lot of animals - two dogs, a cat, three horses, eight chickens. I do a lot of gardening. I'm very, very busy, and then I babysit my three grandchildren a lot. I'm quite an active person so I think I'll be okay."

The Celebrity Traitors continues tonight at 8pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
