Celebrity Race Across the World: Princess and Junior Andre lead star-studded line-up for new series
Celebrity Race Across the World: Princess and Junior Andre in new series

Celebrity Race Across the World is returning to screens in 2026, and the full cast has now been revealed. Four new celebrity pairings will take on the journey, leaving behind their phones, credit cards and home comforts.

The teams begin in Borneo, Southeast Asia, before travelling 7,500km to the final destination in Melbourne, Australia. Along the way, they must reach five checkpoints across three countries and two continents.

Princess and Junior Andre team up

The children of Katie Price and Peter Andre will compete together. Junior is building his music career, having launched it in 2021 after signing a record deal, and has released several singles, including tracks that performed strongly in the charts.

Junior has also moved into acting, recently appearing alongside his father and actress Michelle Ryan in the coming-of-age drama Finding My Voice, released earlier this year. His younger sister Princess has a large online following and stars in her own ITV2 reality show, The Princess Diaries, in which Junior frequently features.

Sam Ryder and his manager Kaz

The Eurovision star, known for his “Space Man” performance in 2022, will take part with his best friend and manager Kaz. Ryder began posting vocal cover videos on TikTok during the pandemic in 2020, attracting attention from artists such as Justin Bieber and Alicia Keys.

He has been nominated for BRIT Awards, MTV Music Awards and a Primetime Emmy Award. Ryder has also performed in the West End, starring as Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar.

Ella Eyre and childhood friend Nana

The “Came Here for Love” singer will join the race with her childhood friend Nana. The 32-year-old rose to fame after featuring on Rudimental’s 2013 hit “Waiting All Night,” and has since appeared on tracks including “Gravity,” “Came Here for Love” and “Just Got Paid”.

Her accolades include nominations for BBC Sound of 2014 and the BRIT Critics’ Choice Award.

Jeff Stelling and son Matt

The veteran sports broadcaster will be joined by his son Matt. Stelling is best known for presenting Gillette Soccer Saturday for Sky Sports from 1994 for 29 years. He has also presented Channel 4’s Countdown (2009–2011) and ITV’s Alphabetical, and now features on talkSPORT.

Teams must rely on their own resourcefulness, local transport and the kindness of strangers, equipped with only a map and a budget of £26 per person per day.

Tim Harcourt, chief creative officer of production company Studio Lambert, said: “This year’s pairs navigate a journey that lays bare two extremes of today’s world.

“We can’t wait to share how they get on. Contestants give unfiltered and honest reactions to the experiences they face that are as demanding as they are joyful.

“That’s so rare on television and it’s clear audiences love seeing their favourite stars deal with these daring challenges in spectacular worlds.”

The series will air this autumn, and Race Across The World will return to BBC One and iPlayer next spring.
