Perrie Edwards has updated her name just days after her wedding to her footballer fiancé Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. Her Instagram page has been changed to reflect her married name, Perrie Oxlade-Chamberlain.
After a four-year engagement, the couple, both 32, made it official as they walked down the aisle in Portugal, in a picturesque wedding in the Algarve. They were joined by their closest friends and family members, holding their big day at a small church in Quinta do Lago with around 70 people in attendance.
Perrie wore an incredible floor-length white lace gown with long sleeves, her hair scraped back into a sleek bun, and accessorised with a trendy bouquet of calla lilies.
On Tuesday, she had told fans she would be changing her name after sharing black-and-white images of her wedding. The caption of the carousel read: "Mr & Mrs Oxlade-Chamberlain."
Perrie, from South Shields in Tyneside, has been with former Liverpool and Arsenal midfielder Oxlade-Chamberlain since 2017, and they became engaged in 2022. The couple already share two children, Axel and Alanis. Their eldest child, a son named Axel, was born in August 2021, and their daughter, Alanis Valentine, was born earlier this year in January 2026.
It was reported that their eldest had a special role in the wedding, with a source telling The Sun, revealing the day was filled with small personal touches. "Perrie and Alex’s wedding day could not have been more special. It was intimate and emotional," the source said. "Perrie and Alex’s son Axel had a special role to play in the ceremony. It was adorable to see. Perrie looked absolutely radiant and Alex didn’t stop smiling. It was a truly beautiful day."
Perrie was previously engaged at the age of 20 to One Direction star Zayn Malik. The couple met on The X Factor in 2011 and became engaged in 2013. Their relationship ended in August 2015. In February 2017, it was confirmed that she was dating her now husband Alex.
Fellow Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock is also married, tying the knot with professional footballer Andre Gray in Jamaica in June 2023. The couple shares twin daughters born in 2021. Jade Thirlwall has no children but is in a long-term relationship with Rizzle Kicks musician and actor Jordan Stephens, whom she has been with since 2020. Former Little Mix star Jesy Nelson is currently single after ending her relationship with musician and rapper Zion Foster. The pair got together in 2022, but after the premature birth of their twin daughters Ocean and Story in May 2025, the couple decided to end their romantic connection and focus on co-parenting.
