Carole Malone has accused Meghan Markle of treating Britons like "gullible fools" after the Duchess of Sussex was photographed meeting Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala outside Claridges hotel in London. Team Sussex insists Meghan is trying to keep a low profile, but Malone notes she made "a very big show this week" in a £26,000 outfit and a Chanel bag.
Malone questions who tipped off photographers about the meeting, which she says polishes Meghan's "battered credentials as a do-gooder." She argues that if Meghan really wanted to "do" humble, she could have met Malala inside the hotel where there would have been no photographers.
Harry's depression comments dismissed
Meanwhile, Prince Harry said he felt "depressed and useless" after Megxit, claiming he "slipped into a depression for about two weeks." Malone dismisses the timeframe, saying "he's always depressed, always moaning," and that "nothing much has changed" on the "useless" front.
Police questioned over Farage investigation
Malone also raises questions about the police investigation into the attack on Nigel Farage's home. Joshua Kerry, accused of murdering Ann Widdecombe, is also accused of trying to set fire to Farage's house. His partner Laure Ferrari found the door damaged and a bottle of lighter fuel outside.
Malone asks why the investigation was dropped and whether political pressure influenced the decision. She claims that if the attack had happened at any other party leader's home, it would have been top priority, but because it was Farage, "the danger to him and his family was ignored." She adds that had police done their job properly, Widdecombe might still be alive today.
Benefits bailout criticised
Malone also criticises Chancellor John Healy's announcement of a £1B energy bills bailout for benefit claimants, just two weeks after he said the benefits budget had to be cut. She asks whether claimants "don't they get enough already," and contrasts them with hard-pressed working families with mortgages who may have less disposable income.
EU statue and other remarks
Finally, Malone condemns a golden statue of a naked Donald Trump, called the King of Injustice, displayed inside the European Parliament. She calls it "childish," "stupid," and "disrespectful," and says it shows the mentality of "arrogant unelected grifters" who have left the European state in terminal decline.
She also comments that the "execrable" Zack Polanski is a dead ringer for Rigsby, but that Rigsby was better looking and had more teeth.
