Liverpool's World Museum is set to be taken over by dinosaurs once again this summer, offering a packed programme of interactive fun, hands-on crafts, and a host of activities for visitors to enjoy.
Meet Life-Like Dinosaur Puppets
Visitors can meet life-like dinosaur puppets of all shapes and sizes every Wednesday and Thursday as these prehistoric creatures roam through the museum. There will be giant puppets as well as baby dinos, along with dinosaur storytelling sessions and meet-and-greet opportunities.
Crafts, Sensory Play, and Expert Talks
From crafty workshops and sensory play for under 5s to a chance to meet museum experts delving into the lives of wild creatures, the World Museum will also hold special events. These include a relaxed after-hours session for children and their families with neurodiverse conditions or additional needs.
New Wild World Gallery
The newly reopened Wild World: Dinosaurs and Natural History gallery on the fourth floor features full-size replica dinosaur skeletons such as Allosaurus and Neovenator. Visitors can also explore Liverpool’s ancient mudflats and the animals that call threatened frozen polar regions and dense forests home.
