Jeremy Clarkson has been spotted filming new episodes of Clarkson's Farm after opening up about his cancer diagnosis. The 66-year-old TV star was seen at the Cereals 2026 farming event held at his Diddly Squat Farm, where cameras captured footage for the upcoming sixth series.
Cancer Diagnosis Revealed
In the latest series of his Prime Video show, Clarkson revealed he has an aggressive form of prostate cancer. He later confirmed he had undergone treatment, with the diagnosis and recovery documented in the final two episodes of the fifth series.
Although a sixth season was already in the works, Clarkson expressed fears he might not be there for it. The Cereals event featured 500 exhibitors showcasing agricultural innovations.
Positive Spirits on Set
A source told The Sun that Clarkson appeared in great spirits, laughing and joking with fellow farmers and chatting with the crowd. During the fifth series, he told farm manager Charlie Ireland and hand Kaleb Cooper about his diagnosis, saying: "I've got cancer. I've known since May. I had a medical, you remember back in May. I disappeared off the other week and I had a biopsy and it is cancer and it's aggressive, but it's really early so the treatment will be, you know."
In the season finale, speaking from a hospital bed, he noted complications during treatment and signed off: "What I wanted to say was if this is all successful, I'll see you for season six, and if it isn't, I won't. Take care, everyone."
Treatment and Recovery
Following surgery, Clarkson told Kaleb that 10 per cent of his prostate was removed via ultrasound, explaining: "The prostate, 10 per cent of it's dead. The 10 per cent where the cancer is." He also suffered from coronary heart disease, reflecting: "So we started the year and I had coronary heart disease and ended it with me with cancer. We can dwell as much as we like on all the bad things that have happened on the farm but I think it is better now at the end of the year to focus on things that have happened that are good."
Clarkson had warned the final episodes would be a tough watch: "Ordinarily we try to keep the show bucolic and charming and cheerful. But the final two episodes which drop in the middle of the night tonight are none of those things really. They're a difficult watch. They're really, really, difficult."
The new series of Clarkson's Farm is expected to premiere in summer 2027.
