Children's favorites including Bluey, KPop characters, and a princess will greet families at The Hoppings in Newcastle this weekend. The annual fair opens on the Town Moor on Friday, June 19, and runs until June 28, offering a packed program of entertainment for all ages.
Kidz Club Weekend Plans
The dedicated Kidz Club will operate on both weekends: June 20-21 and June 27-28, from 1pm to 4pm each Saturday and Sunday. Children can meet popular characters, with photo opportunities available.
On Saturday, June 20, Toy Story's Buzz Lightyear will appear at 1.30pm, 2.30pm, and 3.30pm. On Sunday, June 21, KPop characters will take the same slots. The following weekend, Saturday, June 27, features a princess joined by Bluey, the beloved puppy from the animated series. Sunday, June 28, the final day, will see Mickey and Minnie Mouse rounding off the event.
Organisers hint at additional surprise character appearances on both weekends.

The Hoppings boasts around 400 attractions, including the new Elevate85 'star flyer-style' ride, traditional rides, sideshows, teapot rides, and bungees for children. The fair promises something for everyone, from adrenaline seekers to families enjoying a leisurely stroll.
