Former Blue Peter presenter Katy Hill, 55, has barely aged since leaving her on-screen career in 2017 to retrain as a certified success and confidence coach. She appeared at Fearne Cotton's Happy Place festival over the weekend, sharing behind-the-scenes snaps with her 44,200 Instagram followers.
From TV Stardom to Coaching
Katy, who fronted Top of the Pops and Live & Kicking after leaving Blue Peter in 2001, walked away from broadcasting in 2017. She described the decision on Instagram: "I was living life by DEFAULT, not DESIGN. 'Success' but not on my terms." She added: "Many years of training and a LOT of qualifications later, I became an internationally certified COACH!"
Appearance at Happy Place Festival
At the festival, Katy was seen cuddling Fearne Cotton backstage before her talk. She captioned her post: "We laughed, we cried, we hugged, we 'glowed' in the heatwave … Everything about the weekend was pure JOY." She wore a brown blazer and boho-style dress with loose waves.
Life After TV
Katy now lives in Oxfordshire with her husband, TV producer Trey Farley, and their children, Kaya, 19, and Akira, 15. She previously opened up about a producer's alleged cruel comment on her weight: "I was a size 12-14. So imagine you're going on telly in front of 15 million people … and then someone's told you you don't move very well." The average UK dress size is 16.
