Altrincham BID has announced a packed programme of Halloween events for families and adults during October half term and beyond, centred on Count Alty’s Fang-tastic Halloween Town Trail.
The trail runs from Monday 26 October to Sunday 1 November, inviting families to explore the town and find a mischievous gang of vampires, black cats, cheeky bats, ghastly ghosts and scary spiders hiding in shop windows and unexpected places.
Trail details and hidden message
Families can collect a Halloween Trail Sheet from Everyman Altrincham and head out around the town, keeping eyes peeled for the spooky characters. Some characters carry a special letter; collecting all the letters reveals a hidden Halloween message.
Mandy White, Altrincham BID Director, said: "With so much happening throughout October, visitors and locals are encouraged to download the Visit Altrincham App to find inspiration for Halloween days and nights out."
She added: "Whether you’re hunting for Count Alty’s spooky characters, looking for family-friendly activities during half term, planning a Halloween night out with friends or simply wanting to discover something new in Altrincham, there’s plenty to explore and the Visit Altrincham App has all the details."
Half term events and entertainment
The rest of the programme includes Halloween discos, creative workshops, bottomless brunches, themed weekends and live theatre. Families can get creative at Halloween Art & Craft at Moge Moge, while little ones and grown-ups can dance at the Halloween Disco at Nell’s Pizza.
Adults can enjoy a Halloween Bottomless Brunch at Tre Ciccio, Hollywood Halloween at West Beverly, and House Kitchen & Bar will host a Halloween Weekend. Special Halloween menus are available at venues including A Taste of the Dark Side at Nando’s and a Halloween Menu for Little Monsters at Memories.
October half-term also brings a production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Altrincham Garrick Playhouse. The full list of events runs throughout October and can be found via the Visit Altrincham App.
