Strictly Come Dancing's Dianne Buswell was flooded with support as she shared exciting career news just months after giving birth. The Australian professional dancer welcomed her baby, named Bowden, with partner Joe Sugg in March.
The new parents have been sharing regular insights into parenthood on social media as Dianne took a well-deserved break from dancing. Joe and Dianne met when partnered together in 2018 for the popular BBC show.
YouTube star Joe Sugg announced the birth on social media, sharing their baby's name with followers. On Instagram, he posted a snap of their newborn wearing a blue knitted hat, writing: "Never felt a love like it. Baby Bowden Mark Richard Sugg 16/03/26."
Just three months later, Dianne has revealed she'll be back on the dance floor sooner than anticipated. Sharing a reel on Instagram, the 37-year-old announced a new tour with co-star and friend Vito Coppola.
The "Back in Business Tour" is set for Spring 2027, so Dianne will soon be back in the training room. A hilarious video confirmed the pair will dance together again. In the clip, Dianne gathers her things for rehearsals with Madonna's hit Vogue playing in the background.
She joked about returning to work as a new mum, carrying her things in a children's tote bag while walking through her home in black stiletto heels with a nappy stuck to the bottom.
Fans rushed to the comments to send love and support and express excitement over the upcoming tour. A few familiar names also added comments, including Strictly co-stars. Amy Dowden said: "Go on guys ! Love this and can't wait xxxx." Michelle Tsiakkas, recently axed as a professional dancer on Strictly, said: "Let's go guys! This looks amazing!" Oti Mabuse added: "Let's go mama" and Fleur East said: "Woooooo!!!!!!! Let's goooo!!! So excited for this."
Dianne and Vito will return to the Strictly ballroom later this year, although there have been many changes to the show. At the end of last year, Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman announced their decision to step down as presenters, and the BBC recently confirmed their replacements. Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe, and Johannes Radebe are the new hosts of Strictly Come Dancing.
It is the first time the show has had three permanent presenters since Sir Bruce Forsyth shared duties with Claudia Winkleman during his later years on the programme. Strictly Come Dancing returns in September.
