Netflix Launches 'Watch Your Favourite Books' Hub for Literary Adaptations

Netflix has launched a new global feature called 'Watch Your Favourite Books', a dedicated homepage destination designed to bring literary fans together. The hub curates a vast library of page-to-screen adaptations, transforming users' television screens into virtual local bookstores.

The feature was inspired by the vibrant passion of global reading communities, such as 'BookTok' on TikTok, which drive enormous engagement for books that later become television hits. Instead of a generic list, curators built the hub around nine distinct reader personalities to mirror the physical bookshop experience.

Subscribers can find heart-pounding suspense with adaptations like Jurassic Park and Frankenstein, sweeping epics like The Hobbit, modern romantic dramas like It Ends With Us, and witty British whodunits like The Thursday Murder Club. Mansi Patel, Netflix’s Senior Director of Product Merchandising, said the team aimed to celebrate fandom by creating a destination for enthusiasts to explore favourites and discover new stories.

The hub is built on Netflix's redesigned experience and earlier fan-inspired collections, such as 'Your Zodiac Watchlist'. It is available immediately to UK and global subscribers without needing an app update, accessible from the main dashboard or via keyword searches.
