A British travel influencer who vanished after leaving a Moroccan nightclub has been found safe and reunited with her family. Rachel Kerr, 31, from Maddiston, Falkirk, was reported missing after she left the Smart Nightclub in Agadir at around 5am on Saturday, April 27.
Her family raised the alarm after she checked out of the Caribbean Village hotel and her phone was switched off. They expressed concern as she had run out of money and was on a short work trip to the African country.
The Agadir Security Authority launched an investigation using national security databases. They located Ms Kerr in an apartment in Agadir and confirmed she is still in Morocco under normal circumstances. She is in contact with her brother, who had flown to Morocco on April 22 to search for her.
Her relative Peter Kerr told Metro: 'She has now been found. She is with her brother but she wasn't at the time of that report.' A friend, Alexis Shaw, had earlier said police were involved and appealed for information.
