Fashion Studio Pop-Up Coming to Liverpool's Metquarter

A fashion studio pop-up is set to open at Liverpool's Metquarter this summer, offering young people the chance to develop their design skills through a series of hands-on workshops focused on sewing, fashion illustration and millinery.

KD Club Summer Studio Launch

The KD Club Summer Studio will launch on the ground floor of the city centre location at the end of June, providing a dedicated space for pre-teens, teenagers and families to explore their creativity throughout the summer holidays.

The studio is the latest venture from Liverpool fashion designer Kirsty Doyle, founder of The KD Club. Doyle built her career in the city's fashion scene, designing occasion wear and bridal collections.

Workshops on Offer

Among the sessions on offer are beginner sewing classes, where participants aged eight to 16 can learn the fundamentals of sewing and fashion construction while creating a project to take home. The workshops will run on selected Thursdays throughout July and are designed to provide an accessible introduction to garment making.

For aspiring designers, the Fashion Designer for the Day workshops will offer an insight into the creative process behind fashion design. Participants will learn how to develop concepts, create mood boards and sketch garments, helping them transform ideas into finished designs. Separate sessions will be available for pre-teens aged eight to 12 and teenagers aged 12 to 16.

All materials are provided as part of the workshops, with tickets priced at £25 per person.
