Tartan Army Parties in Boston Streets Before Scotland vs Haiti

Crazy scenes have erupted in Boston as the Tartan Army party in the city centre ahead of kick-off. Hundreds of fans are drinking in the Union Street area with Scots spilling out of the many local boozers onto the street.

Fans in High Spirits

Supporters cheered "We've Got McGinn" and "No Scotland, No Party" while taking shade under trees to escape the blazing sunshine amid a heatwave in the city. Some fans have enjoyed kicking a football around, while others have been singing along to bagpipes.

It has been a sea of Scotland tops as far as the eye can see, as supporters draped in saltires soak up the atmosphere. Scotland will take on Haiti at 9pm local time and around five hours before kick-off some of those with tickets are starting to head towards the Gillette Stadium.

Bus Antics and Fan Zones

There were cheers as fans who had booked local school buses to the match were seen hanging out of windows singing, "Cheerio, cheerio, cheerio!" Many of those without briefs for the big match will soon head to the nearby fan zone, while others are expected to pack out the local pubs.

Local police officers have been joining in the fun as Scotland fans take to the Boston streets. The Stateside Tartan Army are making their presence felt. The fan zone is set to hold 5,000 ticketless supporters during the Haiti match tonight.
