ITV has confirmed that the new series of Big Brother will launch on Sunday, September 13 at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX. The broadcaster has also shared details of a new spin-off show, Big Brother: The Group Chat, which will accompany the latest instalment of the reality series.
AJ Odudu and Will Best are set to return as hosts for the main show. The new series marks an even earlier start than last year and will run for an extended eight weeks. Audiences have been told to expect game-changing moments, with the famous house having been completely reimagined as a 'house of surprises'.
What to expect from the new series
Although this year's line-up of contestants is yet to be revealed, there will be ambitious tasks, the return of high-stakes nominations and the typically dramatic live evictions. With challenges at every turn, new rivalries could form before viewers choose their winner, who will take home the big cash prize.
Last year, AJ and Will also hosted Big Brother Late & Live on alternate nights, analysing recent episodes alongside a panel of guests and an audience of fans.
Big Brother: The Group Chat details
The Group Chat promises to give fans even more action from the famous residence. It is billed as a close examination of ongoing dynamics and relationships at the heart of the series. Episodes will feature exclusive interviews with evicted housemates, celebrity fans and special guests, along with strong opinions and the inside scoop from those who know the house best.
The new series will be presented by former Big Brother contestant Kate Lawler and I'm A Celebrity favourite GK Barry.
