Ten arrested after Birmingham brawl wrecks £200k Lamborghini

A violent mass brawl in central Birmingham in the early hours of Saturday morning left two young men with serious stab wounds and culminated in the total destruction of a £200,000 Lamborghini.

Chaos and Carnage on Summer Lane

Police were called to Summer Lane, near the city centre, shortly before 5am on Saturday following reports of widespread trouble. Upon arrival, officers discovered a scene of significant destruction and two injured men, both in their 20s, suffering from serious stab wounds.

Both victims were rushed to hospital, where they remain in a serious but stable condition. West Midlands Police subsequently arrested ten suspects – eight men and two women aged between 19 and 24. They were detained on suspicion of violent disorder and wounding and remain in custody for questioning.

Trail of Destruction and Luxury Wreckage

The road was cordoned off for most of the day as forensic teams worked at the scene. Dramatic photographs from the aftermath show a trail of debris and two severely damaged vehicles at the heart of the incident.

The most eye-catching wreck was that of a bright yellow Lamborghini Urus, a luxury SUV valued at around £200,000. The high-performance vehicle was left completely destroyed in the middle of the road, its doors wide open. It sustained extensive damage to its front end and bodywork, with at least one wheel knocked out of position.

A second car, a Skoda, was found smashed against a wall on the corner of Summer Lane and Lower Tower Street, also showing major front-end damage. The airbags in both vehicles had been deployed, indicating a high-impact collision.

Ongoing Investigation into Violent Disorder

The incident occurred close to industrial units and car workshops in the area. Police are now working to piece together the exact sequence of events that led from a large-scale disturbance to a stabbing and serious road collision.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police confirmed the arrests and the serious nature of the injuries, appealing for any witnesses who have not yet come forward. The cordon has since been lifted, but the investigation into the violent disorder continues.
