A 40-year-old man from Warton has been arrested after driving a vehicle through road closures at Lytham Club Day in Lancashire. Bystanders restrained the driver until police arrived, and no injuries were reported.

Police were called shortly before midday on Saturday, June 27, following reports that a Honda HR-V had been driven at low speed through barriers on Albert Street during Lytham Club Day. Images from the scene show members of the public holding the driver down until authorities arrived.
The driver, a 40-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit through drink or drugs and assault. He remains in custody for questioning.
Police Statement
Fylde Police issued a statement saying: "You may be aware of an incident at Lytham Club Day a little earlier today... The car, a Honda HR-V, was brought to a stop and the driver was detained. A man aged 40 from Warton was arrested... He is in custody. Thankfully, no-one was injured in the incident and there is no ongoing or wider threat."
