A driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries following a single-vehicle collision on the M4 near Miskin on Monday afternoon, prompting an air ambulance to land on the motorway and causing hours of disruption for thousands of motorists.
Emergency services were called to the westbound carriageway between junction 33 at Capel Llanilltern and junction 34 at Miskin shortly before 3.30pm on July 13. South Wales Police said the car involved struck the central reservation. The driver was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.
Air Ambulance Response and Motorway Closure
