A spokesperson for HM Coastguard stated: "Macduff Coastguard Rescue Team assisted a girl into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service after she was reported to have fallen at Gardenstown at about 7:35 pm on July 12." The Scottish Ambulance Service confirmed they dispatched one ambulance to the scene and transported one female patient to the Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital.
