Primark shoppers are rushing to stores to buy a £7 skincare set that one woman claims smells "identical" to a much more expensive luxury version, saving £59.
Primark's £7 Set vs. OUAI's £66 Travel Kit
The high-street retailer's PS... Golden Veil Body Care Set includes a glow body wash, body butter, and fragrance. It is being compared to OUAI's St. Bart's Travel Kit, which costs £66 and contains a travel-size body cleanser, body crème, scalp and body scrub, and hair and body mist.
Shopper Rhiain Hudson said she was "gobsmacked" when she found the Primark alternative, noting the scent was nearly the same. "I love expensive s***, but I also love bagging myself a bargain as well," she told her followers, urging them to visit their local Primark.
More Affordable Alternatives at Primark
Rhiain also highlighted other travel sets at Primark that include claw clips and spatulas, similar to those from luxury brand Tacha. Primark currently offers a towel, hair turban, and loofahs for body washing, as well as larger versions of the products for £4.
According to Rhiain, the £7 set is worth picking up to try the fragrance before committing to the more expensive OUAI version. The Primark set provides a budget-friendly way to experience similar scents and textures.
