Two brothers have been jailed for a vicious knife ambush near King's Cross station that left their 27-year-old victim fighting for his life. Reece Williams, 30, and Darrell Williams, 27, were sentenced to a total of 20 years for the brutal assault.
Attack and Sentencing
Reece carried out the stabbing, lunging at his victim and stabbing him in a frenetic attack, Wood Green Crown Court heard. The injured man was left with wounds to his head and body. Detectives found CCTV that caught the gruesome attack, showing Reece repeatedly putting the knife into his victim in a ferocious eight-second assault.
The incident happened on September 15, 2025, with Darrell acting as getaway driver for his brother. Reece was sentenced to life with a minimum of 12 years after admitting grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a blade. His brother was sentenced to eight years for GBH and possession of a knife at a hearing on Wednesday.
Investigation and Arrest
The brothers, both from Hackney, were hunted down after police collected hundreds of CCTV images from the point of the stabbing to their escape route. They returned to their family home, and officers found the clothes they had worn at the time of the attack, which were used as evidence against them.
Detective Chief Inspector Sarb Kaur, whose team led the investigation, said: 'This was a violent and unprovoked attack, which left a man fighting for his life. Our officers responded quickly, identifying both brothers, establishing their roles and bringing them to justice.'
'These sentences send a clear message: those who inflict serious violence on our streets will be pursued and held accountable.'
