A devastating car crash in West Yorkshire has resulted in the deaths of three young men and left their friend fighting for his life in hospital. The incident occurred on Wednesday evening in Illingworth, Halifax, prompting a major police investigation.

Emergency services were called to Keighley Road at the junction with Cobblestones Drive at 6.50pm on Wednesday night. The collision involved a white Ford Fiesta carrying four young men, a blue BMW, and a stationary unoccupied Renault Clio.
The victims have been named locally as 22-year-old Corey Graham, 22-year-old Thomas Reilly, and 21-year-old Cass Bryant. All three were pronounced dead at the scene. Their friend, 21-year-old Spencer Elliott-Delaney, sustained life-threatening injuries and remains in a critical condition in hospital.
Police Investigation and Arrests
West Yorkshire Police have arrested three individuals in connection with the crash. The occupants of the blue BMW - a 37-year-old man and two women aged 18 and 32, all from Halifax - have been taken into custody on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Detective Sergeant Paul Lightowler of West Yorkshire Police's Major Collision Enquiry Team stated: 'Our thoughts go out to the family and friends of the people who died. Specially trained officers will be supporting the families involved. This is a tragic incident and extensive enquiries are ongoing at the scene this morning.'
Police have cordoned off the area for investigation and are appealing for witnesses. DS Lightowler added: 'I would like to appeal to anyone who was travelling in the area yesterday evening who may have witnessed the collision to come forward. We are also keen to see any dash-cam footage of the vehicles prior to the collision.'

Boothtown Terriers rugby league club, where Corey Graham had played, said they were 'devastated' by the loss. His former team Siddal described him as 'taken too soon' and expressed being 'deeply saddened.'
Crossley AFC football club paid tribute to all three young men, describing Cass Bryant as 'one of the brightest players on our team' and praising Corey Graham and Thomas Reilly as 'top supporters.' The club added: 'No words can truly express the heartbreak felt across our community. They will always be remembered, and their loss will be felt by so many.'
Personal tributes from family and friends have been particularly poignant. Cass Bryant's partner wrote on social media: 'I love you all so much,' calling the group 'the best set of lads.'
Thomas Reilly's sister posted: 'The most beautiful boy inside and out, my best friend, my baby brother... Thomas, I love you forever and always.'
One friend expressed the collective grief: 'I still cannot get over the fact I'm never gonna see or speak to you boys ever again. Really was the best group of mates I'll ever have, everything we did we did as a group we were inseparable.'
Another added: 'Rest in eternal peace boys. I can't even begin to imagine the pain each & everyone of your families are going through at this difficult time.'

Amid the mourning for those lost, the community has also rallied around Spencer Elliott-Delaney, who remains hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
