A quiet Minneapolis neighbourhood was shattered by violence this week following the brutal and targeted killing of 44-year-old mother, Robin Westman.
Police were called to the 3200 block of 49th Avenue South just after 9:30 PM on Tuesday night. Upon arrival, officers discovered Westman inside her home, suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of emergency services, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities are now investigating a potential connection to a recent online video posted by her son, Brandon Herrera, a prominent conservative commentator and YouTube personality known as ‘The AK Guy’. The video, which has since been deleted, reportedly showed Herrera firing a rifle at a car that was allegedly tailgating him, with the caption ‘Dealing with tailgaters the right way’.
While the investigation is in its early stages, Minneapolis Police Department spokesman, Officer Garrett Parten, confirmed they are "exploring all angles to determine a motive, including the possibility that this was a targeted incident" linked to the online content.
