Nerdeen Kiswani, co-founder of the activist group Within Our Lifetime, revealed that she was informed by an FBI official late on Thursday about a serious threat to her life that was imminent. She stated that she was told the suspect, Alexander Heifler, had been apprehended before the attack could be carried out.
Details of the Planned Attack
According to the criminal complaint, Heifler, a resident of New Jersey, was arrested at his home late Thursday following an extensive undercover operation. The investigation uncovered that he had planned to throw approximately a dozen Molotov cocktails at Kiswani's residence. Heifler had spent several weeks discussing the plot with an undercover law enforcement officer, even visiting her home to scope out the location.
The complaint further details that Heifler invited the undercover officer into his home on Thursday, where he had assembled all the necessary components for the incendiary devices. These included rags, corks, and a highly flammable alcohol known as Everclear, indicating a well-prepared and dangerous plan.

Kiswani, aged 31, expressed that she was shell-shocked by the news but not entirely surprised. She remarked, "I feel very blessed that they were able to thwart this, but it’s something that is a constant possibility for people who speak up on behalf of Palestine."
