Ex-Constable Jailed For Twisted Stalking Campaign

A man convicted of raping and stalking a woman asked if he could call his parents as he was being arrested. Jack-Leland Webster, of Cedar Road, Earl Shilton, Leicester, was sentenced to nine years and five months in prison for offences including rape, strangulation and stalking, while living in Manchester.

Webster, previously known as Jack Malone, attacked and raped his victim while threatening to kill her. While on bail, he stalked her through hundreds of fake social media accounts. Bodycam footage released by Greater Manchester Police on Wednesday shows the moment of his arrest, where he can be heard asking to call his parents.

During sentencing, he was also given an indefinite restraining order. The case highlights the severity of stalking and sexual offences, with police urging victims to come forward.
