
Thames Valley Police have launched an urgent public appeal for information regarding the disappearance of Andrew J.W. Hunt, a 22-year-old student from the University of Oxford, who has been missing for more than a week.
The concerning disappearance began on Thursday, 20th June, when Andrew was last seen in the Summertown area of Oxford. Authorities and family members are growing increasingly worried for his welfare and safety.
Description of Missing Student
Andrew is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, of slim build. He has short brown hair and was last seen wearing a distinctive blue raincoat, dark blue jeans, and black walking boots.
Police Statement and Public Appeal
Investigating officer Detective Inspector James Long stated: "We are growing increasingly concerned for Andrew's welfare and are urgently appealing to anyone who may have seen him or has information regarding his whereabouts to please come forward. We believe he may still be in the Oxford area."
Police are urging local residents and businesses to check any CCTV footage, doorbell cameras, or dashcam recordings that might have captured Andrew since his disappearance.
