Two men have been shot in what police believe was a targeted attack, triggering a manhunt for the gunman in Merseyside.

Emergency services rushed to Prescot, Merseyside, this afternoon after reports of two men in their 20s suffering from gunshot wounds. Merseyside Police stated they were called to Pottery Lane at 2:50 PM, and the victims were taken to hospital for treatment.
Officers remain at the scene, conducting urgent CCTV, house-to-house, and forensic enquiries. The force believes the shooting was a targeted attack and is actively searching for the suspect.
