Two 14-year-old boys have been arrested after a teenager was stabbed in the Manchester Arndale car park, police have said. The incident took place on Saturday afternoon when another boy, also 14, was attacked on the ninth level of the multi-storey car park.

The victim remains in hospital, where his condition is described as stable. The juvenile suspects were arrested on Sunday on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and remain in custody for questioning.

Police Response and Witness Reports

Armed police were seen surrounding the shopping centre following the stabbing, which occurred around 3.15pm. Witnesses reported seeing several people run from the shopping centre to the car park in the moments before the attack.

Armed officers were seen in attendance among several squad cars on High Street, Withy Grove and Dantzic Street. Paramedics were also seen at the Arndale, using a lift to reach the upper floors of the car park.
