An 18-year-old man is facing serious charges after being arrested in connection with a kidnap incident in Central London. Alexander Sarba of no fixed abode has been formally charged by the Metropolitan Police.
The charges include kidnap and possession of an offensive weapon, following a police investigation into an alleged incident in the Westminster area.
Sarba appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Saturday, 25th May, where he was remanded in custody. The case has been elevated to the Old Bailey, where he is scheduled to appear on Friday, 30th August.
