Sydney Real Estate Agent Faces 20 Charges Over Harassment and Suicide Encouragement
Adrian Bruno, a 38-year-old Sydney real estate agent, has been charged with 20 offences relating to a series of allegedly graphic and confronting messages sent to his former colleagues at Ray White. The charges stem from incidents occurring from mid-2025 to January this year, with the matter first heard at Burwood Local Court on Tuesday morning.
Details of the Alleged Offences
The charges against Bruno include 17 counts of sending menacing, harassing, or offensive messages, one count of sending messages encouraging suicide, one count of using false information for benefit, and one count of damaging property. Police allege that one of the messages Bruno sent encouraged a woman to commit suicide, specifying the method she should use. He then allegedly provided her contact details to funeral companies, who subsequently contacted her to arrange end-of-life services.
In addition to the suicide encouragement, the court heard that Bruno allegedly sent false information about a colleague to management in an attempt to harm her reputation. He is also accused of damaging another colleague's vehicle. Two of his former colleagues have interim apprehended violence orders for their protection.
Court Proceedings and Background
During the court hearing, Bruno was seen clutching a bible outside the chambers. He requested an adjournment to seek legal advice, and the matter is due to return to court on April 14, when he is expected to enter pleas. Bruno, who remains listed as a property manager for Milson Real Estate in Milsons Point, has not publicly commented on the charges.
The Daily Mail has contacted Milson Real Estate for comment, but no response has been reported at this time. The case highlights serious concerns about workplace harassment and the potential legal consequences for such behaviour in the real estate industry.
