Emergency services were called to a supermarket in Stoneycroft after a driver crashed into the front of the building. Police were called at around 3.22pm this afternoon (Sunday, October 18) to reports that a woman driver had lost control of her car and accidentally driven into the front of Farmfoods on Green Lane.
Emergency services at the scene
Merseyside Police and North West Ambulance Service are currently at the scene. A spokesperson for Merseyside Police told the ECHO that there are “no visible injuries”.
Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service are also at the scene as a precaution due to fluid coming from the car that appears to be a petrol leak.
Car halfway in entrance
Photographs taken by an ECHO reporter show a silver car halfway in the entrance of the supermarket with several police officers, ambulances and bystanders around.
