Emergency services swarmed a Farmfoods supermarket in Liverpool on Sunday afternoon after a woman reportedly lost control of her car and crashed into the front of the store.
The incident happened at the Farmfoods on Green Lane, Stoneycroft, at around 3.22pm on Sunday, October 18. Photographs from the scene show a silver car halfway through the entrance of the supermarket, surrounded by police officers, ambulances and bystanders.
Emergency response and injuries
Merseyside Police and North West Ambulance Service were called to the scene. A spokesperson for Merseyside Police told Liverpool Echo that there are “no visible injuries”.
Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service also attended as a precaution due to fluid coming from the car that appears to be a petrol leak.
