Surrey Police have issued a fresh appeal for information regarding the whereabouts of 15-year-old Bonnie Blue Hempel, who was reported missing from her home in the Redhill area. The force has confirmed it is growing 'increasingly concerned' for the teenager's welfare as the search enters a critical phase.
Bonnie was last seen on Tuesday, 28th May, and is described as being approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall with blonde hair. Officers are urging anyone who may have seen her or who has any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, to come forward immediately.
Police Statement and Ongoing Enquiries
A spokesperson for Surrey Police provided a statement to the media, emphasising the urgency of the situation. 'We are pursuing a number of active lines of enquiry to locate Bonnie and ensure she is safe and well,' the statement read. 'Officers are conducting extensive checks, including reviewing CCTV footage from the local area and speaking to known associates.'
The police have not disclosed specific details about the circumstances leading to Bonnie's disappearance but have assured the public that a dedicated team is working around the clock on the investigation.
Appeal to the Public
Authorities are specifically asking residents and business owners in and around Redhill to check their personal CCTV systems, doorbell cameras, or dashcam footage for any possible sightings of the teenager from Tuesday onwards.
'The support of the community is vital in cases like this,' the police spokesperson added. 'Even the smallest piece of information could be key to helping us find Bonnie and bring her home safely.'
