Off-Duty Officer Steps In
The drama unfolded when a woman in the audience began acting in an "anti-social manner". An off-duty police officer who was present took the initiative to escort the 31-year-old woman from the venue to prevent further disruption to the show.
However, the situation escalated outside the theatre. It is alleged that the woman then pushed the officer to the ground. Police were subsequently called to the scene, and the woman was arrested on suspicion of assault.
Star-Studded Cast Unaffected
The pantomime stars former EastEnders actress Emma Barton, though reports indicate the star was not involved in the incident. The performance was part of the popular seasonal schedule at the theatre.
