A suspected trespasser walked calmly across the runway at Denver International Airport before being tragically struck by a Frontier Airlines plane. The victim, whose identity has not been released, was sucked into one of the engines of an Airbus A321neo as it was taking off.

Incident Details

Surveillance footage shows the individual jumping the perimeter fence and walking onto the tarmac moments before the collision. The aircraft, bound for Los Angeles International Airport, reported striking a pedestrian during takeoff at approximately 11:19 PM on Friday, according to an official post on the airport's X account.

Passenger Evacuation

Passengers were evacuated via emergency slides and transported to the terminal by bus. An airport spokesperson confirmed that 12 passengers sustained minor injuries, with five requiring hospital treatment.
