Parrot's Street Slang Helps Police Crack Case in Hilarious Twist
Parrot's slang helps police catch criminal

In a story that sounds straight out of a comedy script, a chatty parrot became an unlikely hero in a police investigation. The bird's penchant for street slang helped officers track down a wanted suspect in a hilarious turn of events.

The Feathered Witness

Police were called to a property after reports of a disturbance, but when they arrived, the suspects had fled. That's when they heard an unexpected witness - a brightly coloured parrot squawking phrases that sounded suspiciously like criminal jargon.

"He's Done a Runner!"

"The bird kept repeating things like 'he's done a runner' and other phrases that made us think it had been around criminal activity," explained one officer. The unusual clues led police to identify and eventually arrest a 35-year-old man wanted on recall to prison.

Animal Instincts

This isn't the first time animals have helped crack cases. From dogs finding evidence to cats alerting owners to danger, our furry (and feathered) friends often prove more observant than humans. But this might be the first instance of a parrot dropping verbal evidence!

New Police Recruit?

Joking aside, the incident has left officers both amused and impressed. "Maybe we should consider recruiting him," one policeman quipped. "With that vocabulary, he'd fit right into undercover operations."

The arrested man remains in custody, while the parrot continues entertaining its owners - hopefully with slightly cleaner language from now on.
