Myleene Klass Endured Year of Terror from Stalker at Classic FM

Myleene Klass was subjected to a year of sheer terror while working at Classic FM by a man named Peter Windsor. He sent her an air pistol and other items so traumatic that police refused to disclose their nature to her or the public, leaving her feeling censored from her own life. This secrecy left Myleene questioning what could be more disturbing than an air pistol, instilling deep fear for her and her family's safety and transforming their home into a fortified stronghold.

Stalker's Conviction and Disturbing Actions

Peter Windsor, 61, was found guilty of two counts of stalking involving serious harm and distress after a seven-day jury trial at Warwick Crown Court, resulting in an indefinite hospital order. Over four years, he stalked both Myleene Klass and her colleague Katie Breathwick, sending items including:

  • An air pistol
  • Handcuffs
  • A Catwoman outfit
  • Unhinged letters with sexual and Satanic imagery
  • Approximately 1,000 gifts

Myleene expressed shock and violation, describing the experience as extreme on every front. Police revealed the intercepted air pistol could prove fatal if fired within six feet, and Windsor also sent a silver ring described as holy protection for a worthy high priestess.

Delayed Awareness and Security Failures

Initially unaware of the threat, Myleene missed emails from Breathwick about the stalking and later learned security had discarded many of Windsor's letters and packages. She was only informed in August 2024 when security emailed a list of 12 items sent to her, with a note downplaying the concern. By then, she was receiving up to four items daily from Windsor, who has been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and had no prior convictions.

Courtroom Ordeal and Lasting Impact

During the trial, Myleene took the stand and felt compelled to prove she did not desire the attention or items. The defence barrister questioned her failure to tell Windsor to stop, suggested partial blame for engaging with Classic FM listeners, and implied she welcomed publicity. Myleene countered, noting her recent MBE and stating, The last thing I needed attached to my name was whips, handcuffs and guns.

Windsor was also convicted of stalking Katie Breathwick, 54, sending her binoculars, spiked running shoes, champagne, and a stamp collection for her son. Despite the conviction, Myleene told ITV News the ordeal left her looking over her shoulder, with lasting effects on her sense of security. Daily Mail has contacted Global for comment on the matter.
