Family Tribute to Yvonne Kemp
Yvonne's family issued a moving tribute on Tuesday evening, while releasing a photo of her alongside her partner, Tom Grant. They said: "Yvonne was a much-loved mum, Nana, sister and auntie, known for her caring heart, strength and kindness. She was the kind of person who would do anything for anyone, always putting others before herself."
"She leaves behind a family who love her dearly and memories that will be cherished forever. Yvonne will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew her."
Police Investigation and Cordon
A major cordon was put in place on Crondall Street on Monday, where investigations continued into Tuesday. Tactical aid unit officers were seen carrying out fingertip searches on the street, while evidence markers had been placed on the road and a forensic tent was erected at the junction with Alison Street.
GMP believes the incident to be 'isolated'. Detective Chief Inspector Louise Edwards, from GMP's Major Incident Team, previously said: "We understand an incident of this nature will cause concern however we would like to reassure the public that we believe this is an isolated incident and there is no wider threat to the community."
