Missing Teen Taylor Charlton: Drones Banned in Search
Missing Teen: Drones Banned in Search for Taylor Charlton

A 14-year-old boy, Taylor Charlton, has been missing from Barnstaple, North Devon, since 8 May, with the search now entering its tenth day. He was last spotted near a Tesco supermarket.

Extensive Search Operation

Specialist police teams, supported by Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service, the RNLI, and HM Coastguard, are conducting thorough searches, particularly around the River Taw. Authorities have appealed to members of the public assisting in the effort to cease flying drones, as these pose safety risks to emergency personnel and could hinder the investigation.

Discovery of Shoes

A pair of shoes believed to belong to Taylor was found near the River Taw. This has led police to consider the possibility that he may have entered the water. Taylor is described as approximately 5ft 8ins tall, of muscular build, with dark brown hair and a moustache. He was last seen wearing a bright blue fitted top, jeans, and bright blue Nike shoes.
